People believe in the resurrection of Jesus because this is described in the New Testament gospels. This is despite the fact that each of the gospels provides an entirely different and incompatible story of the resurrection, compared to the other gospels - normally sure evidence of falsity.

∙ 9y agoThe resurrection of Christ is very significant. For one, it shows us the power of Christ! HE was raised from the dead! Not just anyone can do that. Second, he rose from the dead. The grave could not keep him down! Our God is alive! HE sits at the right hand of God in Heaven. He left to prepare us a home where there will be no pain, no tears. He's going to return one day as he promised. 1 Corinthians 15 explains more why the resurrection is so important.
