Lincoln Castle is on Castle Hill, in the city of Lincoln. See the link below.
It was built on a hill, and then houses were built around it, the castle was built there to protect the village around it.
Yes i just researched this and it is built on a hill so i think that it makes it a motte and bailey as it was built between 1066 and 1087. ( when William the conqueror was in reign).
i think that this castle was built after the William the Conqueror defeated a country
by hand
No. This is because motte and bailey castles were made of wood and built on a hill, but Alnwick Castle is made of stone and not built on a hill.
The original keep of Cardiff Castle was built on a motte, which was a small hill. The castle was extended around this, however, and most of it was not above the surrounding countryside.

A castle baily is part of the "Motte and Baily" castles. The motte is the massive, man-made hill, where the castle is built on. The baily is the slightly smaller hill, where the village and "town" is built.
Lincoln Castle was built by William the Conqueror. It was built as a military installation and sometimes used as a prison rather than a grand palace for someone to live.
I think it was 4000 years agoTHINK
1066, the first castle was built. It was called a motte and bailey, it was made out up wood and it was built on a manmade hill.- noizyoyster.com
