The Koran is considered the Miracle of the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). Mohammad (PBUH) was an illiterate man and was delivered the word of God (Allah) by the angel Gabrial (Jibril). As he presented it to the public, they were amazed that an illiterate man like himself could speak such poetic verses. This is why it is a miracle, because if Mohammad (PBUH) had tried to create such poetry or words, he would not have been capable of doing so--only by receiving the message from God (Allah) was he able to speak the words of the Koran.

In addition to the above; which I agree upon completely; the Koran (or Quran) is the only holy book that included many scientific statements that are considered as scientific miracles because their authenticity and validity had been only proved by current advances in sciences and technologies although they mentioned in quran from more than 14 centuries ago.
