Since Ron Paul is a U.S. Congressman, it is more important that he is a patriot that upholds the Constitution of the United States. Very few of them do.
I woudl respect him just as much if he were a Jew, a Moslem, Hindu, or even a Scientologist. The Constitution is the issue when it comes to U.S. politics.
