35 Miles.
Sgraffito
It can draw a line about 35 miles.
The right word is "Mechanical Pencil." Anyways, kids are mostly the ones who use "Lead Pencils." Grades 2nd and up use lead pencils because they think it's cool. But some people like it because you write better with it or you like the decorations for the lead pencil. The bottom line is that they just think it's cool. -Mariah Lopez P.S I'm not Mariah Carrey!
1. Have them identify the suspect in a line up ASAP. 2. Tell them that "not choosing" is a correct answer as well. Studies have shown that giving eyewitnesses this choice results in extremely more accurate findings.
The use of sonar is sending out sound waves out and by measuring the echo that comes back to determine if something is present. This is superior to the old way of lead line because the line had a much smaller range of picking up sounds.
Before sonar, there were applications where individuals actually "listened to the water" with different devices. It was largely impractical for any kind of "real science" or "real military" applications, and probably was viewed as a novelty. But the first submarines were equipped with a crude (by modern standards) sonar, so the technology developed with the military need for it.
A scatter diagram will give a quick but rough extimate of the trend line - especially if there is a lot of variation about the trend. The least squares method will be more accurate.
The simplest and older - shot-line. For faster and more accurate work, especially in deep water, sonar is used now; its simplest form being the echo-sounder.
Back in the day, sailors would head out on the ships and tie a lead sinker to a line to measure the ocean floor. Hope this helped!! ;)
A halter and lead line. The halter is placed around the horse's head and the lead line is clipped on to the halter so you can lead your horse with the lead line. Lead line=Same as lead rope ;)
Line of sight is a method that is used in schools. This method is to see a image of a object.
I'm positive it's Sonar with a curvy line on top of the n.
Centre line method:This method is suitable for walls of similar cross sections. Here the total centre line length is multiplied by breadth and depth of respective item to get the total quantity at a time. When cross walls or partitions or verandah walls join with main wall, the centre line length gets reduced by half of breadth for each junction. Such junction or joints are studied carefully while calculating total centre line length. The estimates prepared by this method are most accurate and quick.
