They have a good economy, good healthcare, good technology, relatively little emigration(because it is a nice place to live), all leading to more people. And its a relatively small country. More people in smaller space=more crowding.
Tokyo is the capital because that is where the Emperor is.
The capital has not always been Tokyo, however.

japan is an Asian country, which means the country japan is in Asia, so all Japanese people living in japan are Asian, tourists may be people who aren't asians. so i would say, about 3 quarters of people living in japan are probably asians. hope that helped. thx.

There are many factors that make Japan's population so large. There is a low rate of infant deaths and most people bear many children which contributes to the high growth of the population.
