Since battery power involves electricity, I guess the question should be "Is battery powered more efficient than mains (or grid) powered?".
Battery as well as grid, is a way of transporting electric energy. So the question is which is more efficient.
At first glance it is easy to say that transportation via grid can be as high as 99,9% efficient when the distance is no more than 100 m, and can be as low as 88% when the distance is at the range of 1000 km.
The efficiency of the transportation of the electric power via battery is maximum at the range of 90% (since there is always at least 10% of the power left in the battery).
That's not always true.
Batteries can be moved around more easily than extension cords, but batteries run out eventually.
So, for small, movable things batteries are better, but for stuff that has to run a long time, and/or uses a lot of energy, mains are better.
battery
a battery
because static electricity cannot be controlled or manipulated like current electricity (think of the saying "lightning doesnt strike on the same place twice")
yes in many ways without control of electricity nothing electrical would work properly.
i need to answer this --> Properties of alloy that are different to and more useful than the main metal... i think this means what do they do?
battery
a battery
it does from experience....
It is current. Because current electricity has moving charges while static electricity has stationary charges.

There is a way of getting a but more power out of almost dead battery's and that is by rubbing them the friction warms them up and gets a bit more out of them. you can do this with 1 battery as well.
electricity, geothermal, nuclear, and probably more
Battery Idiot LightIf by battery light you mean the instrument panel charging system warning light, then that means that more electricity is flowing out of the battery than is being put into it.The charging system is not putting out as much electricity as the electrical system is using. In other words, the battery is being "drained" rather than being charged.
You will have to use battery powered devices or have a generator to produce electricity. More recently a large number of homes have solar energy from the sun which generates electricity
Mains supply provides alternative current while battery provides direct current.

Electricity bill online payment is useful in paying your monthly utility bill online. It saves paper, stamps, and gets your bill paid in a more timely manner than waiting on it to go through the mail service.
