What is the unanswered question list?

Well, a question that has not been answered. The suffix un- means not. Therefore, unanswered means not answered. Such as, he asked me a question, and I did not answer it so it remained unanswered. Happy to help!

Why is it that when you click unanswered questions you still get questions that have been answered?

It is unless someone then aswered it

Is this question unanswered?

What went wrong if you asked a question and answered it yourself on WikiAnswers but when you reviewed that question it said 'unanswered question' so you answered it again and it still said unanswered?

Make sure you actually 'saved' the question. This could also be a browser problem not allowing you to save it properly. Remember, your answer will be removed if it is nonsense, or against WikiAnswers community guidelines. There can also be a server lag sometimes. Try asking the question, then refresh (F5), then when the question finishes reloading, answer and save it.

Why do answers with no contributions look unofficially answered?

Not sure what you mean. If you mean why are there links to other answers below unanswered questions... it is because we still want people to be able to find answers even if the one question they asked isn't answered, so we put the closest answered question matches below, hoping that they will help.

What happens if you delete a sent message before it is read?

If what you mean is, if you delete an answer to a question, will the question still appear to the visitors to the site as answered, no, if the answer was the ONLY one given for that question so far, and you remove it, then the question goes back to appearing as an unanswered question until someone answers it again.

What happened to the 2.3 trillion dollars spent by the Pentagon in 2001?

Has anyone answered this one?, seems still unanswered, just curious.

Questions that are still unanswered about the ice maiden?

Her real name is still unanswered.

Why can't we view unanswered questions on each individual category anymore on this website?

You still can. When you are on a category page, look to the top left side of the page. There are links to toggle back and forth between answered and unanswered questions.

Why when I ask to see unanswered questions in a category and then answer a question from that list it still shows up in unanswered questions?

The question still appears there because the page has not been refreshed. If you click on the "refresh" button at the top of your browser, the page will refresh and the question will have disappeared. A contributor advised that I refresh my browser after answering. I tried that and the question still remained. When I close the browser and call it up again and select the question it still shows as an unanswered question. Sometimes when I select "answer" after the question it will show what I entered (sometimes it doesn't). tats easy i dont get wut u r saying. all you need to do is press save pple!

Why don't people ever answer your questions?

Because there are a lot of questions to answer and there are so many still unanswered that might be yours and it is people answering them and they have other things like family and jobs and stuff that they have to do, so your question will get answered sooner or later by somebody.
