most likely a bad wire get a new one
if a cylinder is not firing there will be no spark at the spark plug. Carefully twist as you pull the ignition wire out and start the engine. when the wire gets close to the spark plug you should see an arc. This means the cylinder is firing

Change one wire at a time. Take the wire from the distributor then the spark plug end, replace with wire of same length. As you do this compare wire lengths and you will be able to change them without any trouble. BE SURE THE SPARK PLUG END BOTTOMS WHEN YOU INSTALL IT OR YOU WILL GET A MISS IN THE FIRING.

you may have plug wires on wrong plugs. you need to get the firing order, find number 1 on distibutor, conenect plug wire from there to number 1 plug . then repeat this using the correct firing order and doing one plug wire at a time
