Acid rain is a bad thing because it damages soils, crops, lakes, fish stocks and even buildings. When we burn fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) in industry, transport and the generation of electricity we release emissions of carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrous dioxide. These all mix with rain to turn it acidic.
Water pollution can occur from burning fossil fuels due to the acid rain. Fossil fuels will pollute the atmosphere which will result into acid rain.
The burning of Fossil Fuels
When there is a combustion of fossil fuels acid rain occurs from sulfuric, carbonic, and nitric acid. Fossil fuels may contain radioactive materials.
The fossil fuels burn and come up to the air as pollution. It gets into a cloud, and when it rains, there is acid rain.
it does not
acid rain
the burning of fossil fuels can cause smog and acid rain
chicken
yes the burning of fossil fuels can result in acid rain
reducing the amounts of fossil fuels is a good thing and it will help slow down the progress of global warming. Acid rain will not happen as much as it does now. But if we stop using fossil fuels and stop releasing greenhouse gases into the air. We could stop acid rain and global warming altogether. In conclusion, the more you reduce, the less acid rain and global warming.
When fuels are burned their pollution goes into the atmosphere where it mixes with rain, this forms acid rain.
Acid precipitation and fossil fuels are related because, acid rain can harm living organisms and fossil fuels are made from the remains form living organisms.
