Frog mutations can be caused by a variety of factors such as pollution, habitat destruction, exposure to chemicals, and UV radiation. Additionally, genetic mutations can occur naturally within frog populations.
Usually this means that your frog is an albino version of a reticulated clawed frog. as far as I know it's just their colouring. This happened to my frog 'gamma,' a few months ago and he's so healthy.
No, it dependes on what kind of frog it is ,but you might have to be careful if they have claws because they might scratch you.
no the Oscar will eat it. i bought an albino clawed frog and my Oscar at it the frog was in the tank for ten min. I had a couple of the albino frogs in the tank with several large Oscars and a synadontis catfish for years. Needless to say when i got the Oscars the frogs were larger than them and unable to eat them so i think that helped a lot. One of the frogs did happen to get eaten by the catfish though when I was transproting them to my new apartment.
Mutations themselves are simply changes in genetic material and can be neutral, harmful, or beneficial depending on the specific mutation and the circumstances. Some mutations can be advantageous, providing a survival or reproductive advantage in certain environments, while others can be harmful and cause genetic disorders or diseases.
