They occupy different niches in the natural environment. For elephants, being larger was a survival trait. For guinea pigs, a higher reproductive rate was an adaptation. Most guinea pigs would not survive in the elephant's native lands, and the elephant might starve in areas where there is only enough food for smaller mammals.

Guinea Pigs are MUCH larger than Hamsters and since their excrement (droppings) and cleaning habits and so on are similar - one could conclude that they smell the same.BUT if you do not clean their habitat often enough, THEN a Guinea Pig's Cage/Terarium would be Smellier than a Hamster's - SINCE they would have a larger amount of droppings (both in size and amount) and there would be more excrement in their enclosure.
The guinea pig will be heavier than usual.
there is no certain size but i have experienced that my female pig IS larger than my friends male but it matters on their diet and execise.i hope this is of use to you

yes, because a guinea pig is larger.
No
No. They are different animal species, so they could give each other diseases. Also, a guinea pig is much larger than a gerbil, so placing the two pets together may not be safe.
