Why is answers com so helpful?

Some answers are good and some are bad because it is a Wiki site and that means anyone can provide or change an answer. Most people answering a question do so because they want to be helpful and actually know the answer, others are just vandals fooling about. Over time however, people answering and the sites supervisors are building a set of good answers to the majority of questions people have from around the world.

You can have more trust in an answer if the last editor has allot of trust points or is a supervisor. If you have been provided with a good answer, reward the person providing it by giving them a trust point.
