um i don't know???? Well I do: Apirana Ngata was one of the first Maori to get a University Degree. He dedicated his life to advocating for Maori and to getting Maori issues, culture and needs recognised amoungst the general New Zealand Population. Much of what Maori as a whole have aspired to can be contributed back to him.
