Modern Mac OSs are based on Linux. Linux is not prone to virus attack because executable files cannot affect other files unless they can get permission. If you were to change ownership of all of your system files and run as administrator you might get a virus that could damage your system but, since that is unlikely, nobody has bothered to write code that will exploit that situation.
no completely no.
False. Example- apple trees are infected by the apple mosaic virus which causes the apple trees to produce less food.
The main difference between Macs and PCs is the operating system. The Mac OS is easy to use and efficient. Windows doesn't have the simplicity and is more prone to viruses.
Yes, its true Apple computers can get viruses, but it is extremely unlikely due to the way they have been designed.
what do you mean by two virus for apple?
No it won't.
At any one time, the answer to this question could vary. In general, Macs are less prone to viruses than Windows-based computers. This is in part due to the smaller market share of Apple/Mac computers, and also due to the general design and architecture of the Apple computers. In short, you shouldn't assume that because you have a Mac you are immune from attack, but your chances of being "infected" are much lower. You should still take appropriate measures to safeguard your computer per recommendations posted on the Apple website.
Try going to www.apps.nojailbreak.com a friend told me about it and i have not tried it yet, good luck if it is real. I think Apple said after a while they will allow 3rd apps that you can download that are more safer, less prone to viruses etc. but jailbreaking is the way to go, i did it and have billions of apps (no problems). P.S not actually billions :P
No, but there are no viruses for macintocsh computers.
don't use hacks at all your computer will become prone to viruses
No, iPod Touches cannot contract viruses.
Apple products can get viruses. Way more people over the world use Windows and are more familiar with it than they are with an Apple product. That makes Windows the main target.
