It is when an object or substance is changed into very fine particles. For example. A liquid in an aerosol can, is said to have been atomised when the can emits the liquid as a very fine spray.

What advantages does an HVLP sprayer hold over it's competitors?

The HVLP systems from Wagner offer the best atomisation in the industry. When coupled with the new, versatile and accurate Maxum II gun, the Wagner HVLP system provides 15% better atomisation, and reduces preparation and cleanup time to help keep you more productive. In addition, the Wagner CS 9900 five-stage turbine produces 9.5 PSI, making it the most powerful unit available today go to"http://www.sprayequipment.co.uk"

What chemical reaction is hydrogen breaking apart?

This isn't really a reaction, because the product, hydrogen atoms, is not a substance which can be isolated. It is a theoretical step in some reactions. The process can be called the atomisation of hydrogen, or bond dissociation.

Why is it called airless injection in relation to compression ignition engine?

Airless injection or solid injection - Injection of fuel directly inti the combustion chamber without primary atomisation is called airless injection. it is nothing but mechanical injection only.

What is the different between iodine in enthalpy in atomisation and enthalp y of sublimation?

i believe that standard enthalpy change of atomisation is the enthalpy change that takes place when one mole of gaseous atoms is formed from its elements under standard conditions(which includes breaking of bonds between atoms within molecules), while for sublimation it only involves the change of states (from solid to liquid) with no intramolecular bonds broken.

What is the relationship between enthalpy of atomisation of hydrogen and the bond dissociation enthalpy of the H-H bond?

the enthalpy of atomisation of hydrogen is equal and (in principle) identical to the bond dissociation enthalpy of the H-H bond. However, IF the first is measured by calorimetry and the second by spectrometry there might be a systematic difference.
