The Holy Spirit is the GOODness that is innate to each of us. God and Jesus are mere ideologies. Therefore; we can sin against ideologies but not against our innate goodness. BTW, what the religious term as "SIN", is what I call "Character faults" and can be rectified by ourselves without the help of an ideological god/s.

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

The above verse tells a number of interesting facts. It is clear that one cannot ultimately sin against a principle (even though God's word contains principles, a sin is most certainly against the one who decreed the principle) This demonstrates that the Holy Spirit is a divine person with equal authority with the other two persons of the tri-une Godhead and His role is primarily in bringing people to Christ and helping them to understand spiritual truth and to grow into Christ. Since belief or unbelief in Christ is the ultimate unforgivable sin (John 3:18,36), it simultaneously involves deliberate rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit.

The HOLY SPIRIT is not a person. A person is an entity whose self-awareness is independent of others. The HOLY SPIRIT is just a projection of G-D's power. Like an arm. He has 7 SPIRITS. Can your right arm forgive your friend if he hammers that arm? Note: When the anti-christ seals all his followers with his seals/devices, that person loses his freewill capacity to understand sin and the capacity to freely seek forgiveness. Because his freewill has been compromised, he automatically loses his chance for a place in the BOOK of LIFE. Knowman says: Each of the persons of the trinity has an "office". Part of the office of the Holy Spirit is to convict the individual of his sinful condition and need for forgiveness through faith in the shed blood of Jesus to be reconciled to God. The other persons of the trinity have different "offices", or "jobs", so to speak. To deny the power of the Holy Spirit is to deny his capability to fullfil the requirements of his office. This happens through unbelief and results in eternal condemnation, or punishment. As for the other persons of the trinity, well, all people everywhere believe in a god, even atheists, contrary to what they may say and contrary to that appellation. This is evidenced in their folk tales, their lore, their history, their icons, their literature, etc. So, in a sense, belief in a god is similar to belief in (the true) God. Though this type of belief will not lead them to the foot of the cross it presents a seedbed for future saving faith. And Jesus, well, to deny the existence of a documented historical figure is foolhardiness, but again, admitting simply to His having existed will get you no gold stars. So, because of these conditions almost everybody believes in their existence, but because the Holy Spirit, though fully God, can only be acknowledged by those with the right "heart" condition it is much easier to deny His existence, His work, and His divinity. And that, dear seeker, will result in a heart that is hardened to reception of the gospel. And a heart that is hardened against the "good news" (for that is what gospel means) will fail to come to where forgiveness is feely given, to the one sacrifice that will be accepted by God, to Jesus. And a failure to do this will result in your being assigned FOR ALL ETERNITY to the place created specifically for the Devil and his angels, and that is what being unforgiven leads to. So, to blaspheme the Holy Spirit is, to put it simply, to harden ones heart against His softening activity, which leads to the conviction of one's lost condition, the acknowledgment of one's sinfulness, the humbling of oneself at the foot of the cross, repentence and restoration. And to blaspheme Him (to deny that any of that is true) is unforgiveable. God, being not only a god of absolute love, is also a god of absolute justice and MUST punish sin. No gray areas.

According to the Bible the only sin that God finds unforgivable is the sin of blasphemy made against the Holy Spirit. Can You Commit The Unforgivable Sin?

A:The gospels say that only blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgiveable. Why this should be so is not stated, since blasphemy even against Jesus is said to be forgiveable. Nor does it say what constitutes blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or how it is possible to blaspheme against him. It sounds good to have an 'unpardonable sin' but it may actually be a sin that is not possible to commit.

What sins are unforgivable in the eyes of god?

What scripture mentions a sin that is unforgivable?

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Here are examples.-LUKE 12:10, "And everyone that says a word against the Son of Man, that will be forgiven; But he that blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.-MARK 3:29, "Whoever blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of everlasting sin."-MATTHEW 12: 31-32 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come".

Can one reject or blasphemy against the Holy Ghost then ask for forgiveness and want it back into their lives and be forgiven?

This is what Jesus told us about the unpardonable sin in the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 12:31-32, " Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come". I would say this is fairly clear. Be careful.
