Because who would we clone? Smart people? Beautiful people? Then our whole world would be full of perfect copies and that's a little scary. Because who would we clone? Smart people? Beautiful people? Then our whole world would be full of perfect copies and that's a little scary.

Cloning is illegal in many jurisdictions due to ethical concerns about the implications of manipulating life, potential for abuse in human cloning, and uncertainties surrounding the long-term consequences of cloning technology. Additionally, there are fears about the impact of cloning on genetic diversity and individuality.

Not all cloning is illegal. The cloning of a whole Human Being is because when you do you are opening a can of worms that cuts to the chase of what religions regard as tampering with the creations of God. The fact that they are doing it with animals and plants is neither here nor there. Cloning is being done legally with human tissue in an effort to fight disease and replace organs. One of the big worries that people have about cloning is that unscrupulous humans would be able to create custom built people by combining the possibilities in cloning and genetic engineering. The possibilities scare some people. In the days of slavery we had the power but not the knowledge to do this can you imagine the ramifications if one could own their own human being bred to order. It wasn't that far away and who knows in a world that puts wealth before all else it may still not be to far away.

Cloning is illegal because it is a dangerous practice. It can lead to a huge number of genetic abnormalities. Another reason that it is illegal is because it sometimes include the killing of a human embryo which is considered abortion depending on a persons view.

Cloning can also involve researchers, technicians, and ethicists who contribute to the various aspects of the process.

Side affects of cloning?
