Why is cloning not a type of sexual reproduction?

Sexual reproduction requires two organisms one male and one female to mate where the male introduces his genes into the female which will become pregnant and give birth to a third organism that was created from and shares both parents genetics. Everything from animals to plants reproduce in this manner in some method or another.

Cloning is where you take genetic information from a organism and then artificially create an exact copy of said organism.

The best way to describe this is when someone takes a cutting from a plant and grows a whole other plant from that cutting, this is often referred to as "cloning" because both plants are exactly the same one having been grown from the other there is absolutely no genetic difference between the clone and the parent.

Asexually reproducing organisms is pretty much a natural form of cloning as there is no difference between the two organisms and no other organism is needed.
