I would like to say it is, but its not. i just graduated HS and wanna go to college more than anything. basically my mom died when i was young and my dad is in prison. now they love to flash "borrow up to full amount...or....anyone can afford college" on their websites. well ya know what, this is BULLS**t. I feel like crying really. I am suppose to be starting college soon but obviously fully awarded Stafford loans and Perkins loans and fafsa is still not enough to cover tuition. so they say take out a private loan, BUT you need a cosigner. what part of DEAD parent and IN PRISONED parent do you not get? I'm curious? where were you lost? CLEARLY i have no one to cosign for me. that's why i applied for the Perkins loan in the first place. So I'm screwed. maybe Obama should see this letter the next time he says anyone can go back. that's funny, because i am 18, i SHOULD be the one going to college, but because my parents were mess ups, i am being put at a SEVERE disadvantage So next time someone wants to say college is affordable, they need to be told how myopi.c they are, they have no clue how hard some people try to get in and i just get shut out. Its unfair, life is unfair, and i hate it.

∙ 12y agoThere are many possible reasons. Most of them relate to sex.
1. You might be stressed because the person you want to have sex with is having sex with someone else.
2. You might be stressed because the person you want to have sex with is having sex with you and is bad, or
2a. They are good, and it is distracting you from your studies, or
2b. They are good, so you don't put on protection and become pregnant, or
2c. They are good, and you reject your religious upbringing.
Also there is academics, I guess.

∙ 14y agoNot everyone would do well in college. Some people can go straight out into the "real world" and start working!
Here are some reasons NOT to go to college:
- if you are barely passing high school, you would probably not pass college
- if the career you want does not require a college education
- if you would rather attend technical college for a career-specific education
- if you would rather go ahead and start working
