Yes, some places will take cotton to use for making paper. Cotton is also recycled into cleaning rags.

Cotton will also decompose in landfill as it is an organic product, grown on a cotton bush.

Cotton is biodegradable because when you put it in a compost bin then as time goes by it rots and becomes apart of the dirt. Which makes it biodegraded.

Bio-biolgy; degraded-its nothing anymore. Because it is degraded into the dirt.

Yes. Cotton is a natural fiber and it does decompose over time. In its natural state it might last a few months, made into fabric with dye and sizing, it could last for many years, but it will eventually decompose.
