Thumbtacks are believed to be recyclable
Kind of. The endocrine system deals with more inner, longtime changes and effects, like puberty when it releases more secondary sex hormones; while the nervous system reacts quickly and to out-of-body stimuli, such as pricking your finger on a thumbtack and immediately jerking back.
The difference is that biodegradable means that items such as food waste, garden waste and certain plastics can be broken down by the actions of bacterium, fungi and other living organisms. They can be composted. Recycled means that they can be reused as they are once cleaned, processed or treated eg clothes, paper, card and glass.
Lysosomes are membrane-bound organelles that enclose hydrolytic enzymes. They basically allow cells to break-down material (such as nutrients in regular cells, or phagocytosed pathogens in immune cells.)
If you had a dead rabbit....Then lets say the ugly vultures and stray animals didnt eat it for a long period of time. Then little bacteria (called decomposers) would start to break down the dead organism...we learned all about this in middle school science, I hope whoevers asking this is in at least 3-7 grade XD Cuz thats just embarrasing...sorry XD
All cells metabolize sources of energy to keep them ticking over in terms of making energy molecules they can use to do 'work' with, or making structural components for the cell. This involves breaking down larger molecules (catabolism) or using energy to build them (Anabolism). Inevitably there are left over pieces that are useless and may or may not be recyclable, hence metabolic waste. The cell will want to get ride of this waste as if its allowed to build up it will become toxic to the cell. Novanet: The by-product of chemical reactions in the organism

Huh, can't you float a thumbtack in water? If it sinks, it means that the amount of water displaced weighs less than the tack.
