Diabetes is not a disease (inability function) due to weakness or damage of any system organs linked to the pancreas that inhibit production of insulin or weak insulin for a blocked phase due to multiple factors such as life style, lack of exercise, hypertension, diet etc. leading to two types (Type 1 or Type 2). Either there is production of insulin but weak and cannot convert sugar embed in blood cells to free energy or very little or no even no insulin production.
As almost all system organs are involved it is difficult to determine which particular organ is responsible to inhibit the insulin function. It has been debated that it could be linked to genetics but that could be corrected by stem cell therapy today.
Traditional medicines have also helped but every person has to get a specific module therapy made for cure of the ailment.
There are many physicians today who specialize in specific module therapy.
Your pancreas stops producing insulin.

A deficiency of insulin causes diabetes mellitus.
Low levels of ADH can cause excessive urination (polyuria) followed by extreme thirst (polydipsia). A rare water metabolism disorder, called central diabetes insipidus, is sometimes the cause of ADH deficiency but low ADH doesn't not cause diabetes insipidus.

Diseases caused by insulin deficiency include type 1 diabetes, where the body cannot produce insulin, leading to high blood sugar levels; and type 2 diabetes, where the body becomes resistant to the effects of insulin, also resulting in elevated blood sugar levels and potential long-term complications like heart disease and kidney damage. Insulin is crucial for regulating blood sugar levels and its deficiency can have serious consequences on overall health.
Type 1 diabetes is caused by a deficiency of insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates blood sugar levels. This results in high blood sugar levels, leading to the symptoms of diabetes mellitus.
Diabetes insipidus
Measles is not a deficiency disease. Measles is caused by measles virus. This is an infectious disease.
Protein deficiency.
Diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is where your pancreas doesn't work pretty much at all, and type 2 is when you are over weight and don't exercise and you have to take small amounts of insulin or pills to keep it under control.
