drugs break down and replace the bodies natural chemicals with chemicals provided by the drug. For instance: think of your brain as having thousands of little keyholes. Your body naturally produces the chemicals that you need to fill those keyholes and unlock your brain to make it work. When you take drugs, these keyholes are filled with foreign chemicals that don't quite fit the keyholes, so they don't work quite the way they should. Meanwhile your body is still producing what does fit and work, but they have nowhere to go, so they die. Your body starts to develop a pattern. So it stops producing the amount of chemicals or cells it orignially needed to fill those keyholes and so you lose precious brain cells. That is just one example, drugs can also cause damage to other organs and immunity. some drugs are needed to supplement the loss of what the body needs. These drugs ar prescribed by physicians or sold at pharmacies and should be used as directed.
