Equatorial places are hot and wet throughout the year and the Britain has cool summers and mild winters. Equatorial Climate is found in places between latitudes 5^N and 5^S whereas the British climate is found between 50^N and 60^N. Equatorial climate is hot but wet and is found within 5 degrees either side of the equator. This is due to the angle of the earth facing the sun. The equator is always in the sun so this causes tropical rainforests to grow along it. It rains here every afternoon.
