If oil is found in the exhaust on a four stroke mower the most likely problem is that it has been tipped up the wrong way, it may also mean that oil has filled the air filter so it will have to be cleaned or replaced. If the oil level is correct and the air filter and spark plug clear the engine can be restarted, just be aware that it will be very smoky till the excess oil clears from the exhaust system
