A question only to be answered with opinions.... in my opinion. I am a fantasy author and not all of it is anti-technological, however a majority is sadly. I believe it is because of the influences of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. After them, many tried to write in similar ways and the authors mentioned above created works that gave a massive base for other writers to create. I believe because Sci-Fi and Fantasy are separated, fantasy has become more and more "Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, and Magic". Just my opinion though.

Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII, and Xenogears have some themes and story elements that can be construed as anti-religious. But that is really only when viewed with a western mindset. These are games written by Japanese for whom religion plays a much different role in their life/culture.
