Because it is attached to the front of the mouth it it can reach longer lengths plus it is very sticky, good for catching flies in mid air
because they are insect eaters the tongue is attached to the back so they can catch them easier

Frog doesn't hav teeth in da lower jaws .. so diz might b da reason tht increases da internal area of frog's mouth .. where as man has teeth in both da jaws ..
