Then I draped the hose over the back bumper, and let the dirty fuel drain through the system into a spare gas tank. When clear gas was coming out, I reconnected the fuel pump, changed the fuel filter, and it was good to go.

It can be the fuel drain on the side of the fuel filter housing or it can be the fuel line that goes to the back of the passenger side head. the fuel will be coming from the valley because what ever leaks up top will puddle there and run to the back. I bet it will be the line. you may have to tack the CAC boot off of the turbo to get a better look. It is not hard to change most dealers will charge 1-2 hours to replace the line if it is the line.

Well, i suppose if your injectors are using all of the fuel (super rare) then there would be no fuel coming back to the return fuel line. However, since you say there is NO fuel pressure, I would check out the fuel pressure regulators and the vacuum lines connected to them. The pressure regulators are located on the top of the engine and are directly in line to the fuel line. They are connected between the fuel rail (where all the injectors are fed from) and the metal fuel rail on top.
