The tsunami will flood the low lying areas. Going to higher ground might take you out of the areas that will be flooded.
The scary thing about a tsunami is that you don't know when it's going to happen until hours before so unless a tsunami is going to hit soon then I can't tell you
no
water
No one can predict this.
There are yet no instruments which could predict a Tsunami. So, it can't be told whether a tsunami will come or not.
In the event of a tsunami warning or attack, it is important to follow evacuation orders from local authorities and move to higher ground or designated evacuation shelters. Avoid going near the shore or low-lying areas, and listen to official updates on the situation. Stay calm and help others evacuate safely if possible.
A tsunami is not a wind-related event, so the wind could be going any speed.
When a tsunami hits, you should not stay near the beach or low-lying coastal areas, as these are the most at risk for massive flooding. Additionally, you should avoid going near or into the water, as tsunamis can cause strong and dangerous currents that can sweep you away. It is important not to go sightseeing or attempt to take photos near the affected areas, as this can put you in unnecessary danger.
So the way most people protect themselves in a tsunami is to run inland about 2km or more or they try to climb to higher ground but those who are unlucky and get swept by the tsunami protect themselves by hanging onto debris such as cars, trees and even roofs. The best way you can protect yourself is to know the warning signs if you see these warning signs don't wait or hesitate run as far inland as you can and climb about 100 feet (30m) high. If you do get swept by the tsunami and manage to survive your best course of action is to hold onto debris flowing past or climb a tree to higher ground because a tsunami is not just one wave its multiple and they can be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour apart. If you did manage to get to higher ground do not leave your spot even if you think the tsunami has stopped because it hasn't wait for official word before leaving your spot.
