Why is homework a waste of time?

if it is too hard, you should ask for help at school or home.

if you review regularly and look at your notes, homework will soon be a piece of cake.

make time for yourself during the daytime when you can focus on homework.

avoid having cellphones or ipods on while you study.

If homework is too hard for you then maybey you are sitting in the back of the class and not hearing the teacher, or talking too much. Try to see if you have any chance to move to the front of the class so you can memorize what the teacher is saying, take better notes, and get better grades. And If your are having trouble in any subject, go after school to a teacher to ask him/her a question, or if you are lucky, you will find someone willing to tutor you.
Homework is hard because sometimes of the amount given, but usually how the subject is hard itself. For example: If someone's weakpoint is math, then the homework for it will be very difficult for them.
Whats the point doing homework if its easy? Then your not thinking :)
So you don't flunk in school and you can start a life faster

Hi, homework can be boring for many different reasons: It is work that you do at home when you could be playing on your games console or with friends, There is no way out of it and you know you have to do it, it is often regular and there is no motivation and you have unreasonable time scales for unreasonable amounts of work!

However, in the end it will help you in life. You may get a better career or make more money because of it! So one day you will be grateful (or not!) that you did it.

Homework might be a waste of time if you already completely understand the material and the many different ways it can be applied. Most students do not, and homework was originally designed to test a student's comprehension by presenting various questions or reinforcing examples.
Unfortunately, many schools have now adopted the "collegiate" system whereby students must access and learn new material outside of class. This increases the total coverage of subjects but may leave students mystified or frustrated if they do not immediately grasp the subject on their own. Traditional homework assigned a limited amount of reading prior to class, and outside reports, essays, and projects were of a smaller number.
This may be due to a greater range of school material, or a greater emphasis on full coverage of a subject. So while homework may not be a waste of time, in many cases it is an assumption of time, time that students could otherwise use for their own recreation and entertainment.

Because there mind likes computer games or stuff that attracts them. Do something like if they want a Pizza party, they have to do homework everyday and night!
