Not necessarily. It depends on the specific type of service (of which there are many types), and the individuals position within that sector. There are many individuals within the service sector that make well into the six figures. These may be individuals with a particular specialty and or expertise, or individuals who actually own their business, etc. Being within the service sector, does not necessarily mean being an unskilled laborer. Many are well educated and experienced individuals with good critical thinking skills, creativity, and once again with a special expertise that consumers either must use, or would like to avail their services of.
