Krill are actually a type of small marine invertebrate, like tiny shrimp, and they are the primary source of food for several baleen whales, particularly blue whales.
It was originally believed that fish oil is better than krill oil. It has now been proven that krill oil is at least 3 times better for you than fish oil. Advertisements for krill oil are now being run on TV. The main problem with this is that the numbers of krill are rapidly decreasing due to two problems. 1, global warming is melting ice which contains an algae that krill eat for their main source of food. 2, overfishing of krill because it is more nutritious than fish oil. If krill become an extinct species it will be extremely bad for the marine environment. Krill are whales main source of food and the same with many other marine animals. Squid, seals and other animals rely on krill and without them animals will have to start eating other creatures like fish and squid leaving them extinct too. With none of these animals left the only things left will basically be plankton and not many animals eat plankton because it is so minute. Whales are the main predators of plankton. Although krill oil is better for you it is not a good idea to buy it because it will be a major problem for the marine environment.
Fish stop eating when they have had enough. They can not be "overfed". Excess, left over food that the fish do not eat is the problem, because if it is left in the water, it will rot and poison the fish.
there arent they all died(:
Many species inhabiting the Antarctic eat other fish or plankton.Another AnswerAntarctica is a continent. Fish in the Southern Ocean that surrounds the continent, dine on the shortest food chain on earth that includes phytoplankton and krill
Humpback whales eat different things as of krill, plankton, and a variety of small fish.Humpback Whale: Hunting TechniqueThe Humpback Whales eat plankton and small fish. They are baleen whales, meaning they do not eat large prey, rather taking in a large amount of water with plankton and small fish and then filter the water back out through their baleen, leaving only the plankton and small fish left in their mouth to consume.krill and small fish. krill are a marine invertebrates which look like shrimp. they are present in all oceans of the world they eat photo-plankton so are considered keystone species near the bottom of the food chain.Humpback whales (like all baleen whales) are seasonal feeders and carnivores that filter feed tiny crustaceans (krill - mainly Euphausia superba, copepods, etc.), plankton, and small fish (including herring, mackerel, capelin, and sandeel) from the water. They are gulpers (not skimmers), filter feeders that alternatively swim then gulp a mouthful of plankton or fish. Concentrated masses of prey are preferable for this method of feeding. An average-sized humpback whale will eat 4,400-5,500 pounds (2000-2500 kg) of plankton, krill and small, schooling fish each day during the feeding season in cold waters (about 120 days). They eat twice a day. http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/whales/species/Humpbackwhale.shtmlHumpbacks eat small fish and krill. You can look at this website for more info: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/whales/species/Humpbackwhale.shtmlThe humpback is a predator, taking krill and small schooling fish, such as herring, salmon, capelin and sand lance as well as mackerel, pollock and haddock in the North Atlantic. Krill and copepods have been recorded from Australian and Antarctic waters. Humpbacks hunt by direct attack or by stunning prey by hitting the water with pectoral fins or flukes

Swim bladder problems are common in fish, with some species being more prone to it than others. This often causes fish to swim upside down or erratically. Please see the link below for things you can try to help your fish - usually the problem is constipation and the solution is to help the fish "get unstuck". This problem can be fatal if left untreated, so please take action to help your fish.
3 fish would be left
Well, the mom emperor penguin is the only one to leave. She goes to get food such as, Krill (shrimp), and fish. The chick is not left alone, it stays with the dad. Usually, the mom leaves before the chick is born and the dad stays with it until it hacthes.
