A Christian represents God, believers are to live according to God's so that He may be seen through them, it is not a sin to represent God but it is a sin to make an image of God because God is spirit and no one has ever seen him but through love we can.

Additional Points:

When people make a representation of something, for religious purposes, it has a way of becoming an IDOL (a symbol or object of devotion). Psalms 115:4-8

As has been said above, God is spirit, he is invisible, no one has EVER seen God at ANY time (John 1:18), so any 'representation' of God would be wrong. He doesn't want us worshiping any 'creation' (Romans 1:20-25 ); He wants us worshiping HIM. It takes more time and effort, and a REAL desire, to build a relationship with the invisible true God, but he gives us so many ways to do it (John 17:3, Psalms 119:105)(Philippians 4:4-7, Matthew 6:33, Mark 11:22) and then blesses our efforts.

Is god without conscience?

God is without conscience. He made us with one because we are sinful. God does not sin and doesn't have the potential to sin. God doesn't have a conscience because he doesn't sin so he doesn't feel guilt. Our conscience is what make us feel guilty about something we did bad. Hope that helps you out.

What is a sin for Catholics?

Catholics view sin as an act that God finds offensive. Catholics believe there are two types of sin, venial and mortal. Whereas a mortal sin takes a person out of God's graces, a venial sin does not. Catholics believe that all sins can be forgiven by God; no sin is too big for God to forgive.
