The ring of fire is a place where a large plate meets other plates. This plate is shifting alot. Since it is in the ocean, tsunamis occur. There are also many volcanoes around this area. The ring of fire is mainly one plate, the pacific plate, rubbing against others.
There is something called the midocean ridge. Currents in the magma in the mantle are pushing the plates away from each other. They are rubbing against the plates on the other side of them, causing earthquakes and volcanoes.
Sorry if this is confusing but I hope it helps!
It is unstable because of the frequent seismic activity creating many fault lines in the earths crust.
It can be dangerous because there are many active volcanoes in the Ring of Fire. The numerous plate boundaries also make it prone to earthquakes.
the lithosphere is concentrated on the earth's crust. and the crust is just a thin layer floating on the mantle.
Tectonic plates create the earthquakes.

the ring of fire is a chain of volcanoes, but I recall hearing somewhere around 80%
Earthquakes happen everywhere, but they're more frequent in some areas then others. It's quicker to explain where Earthquakes happen and let you work out where they're less likely to happen. Earthquakes are most common at tectonic plate boundaries, that is, where different plates meet. The largest events usually happen where two plates are colliding. About 90% of the world's earthquakes happen along the ring of fire. The ring of fire is roughly where the Pacific Ocean is near to or touches land. It's caused by tectonic plate movement/collisions.
The Pacific Ocean. The Ring of Fire is a group of volcanoes. The pacific tectonic plate.
The ring is the location of subduction zones
Earthquake mostly happen around the ring of fire, around the Pacific ocean.
The ring of fire is a ring of volcanoes around the Pacific ocean. These signify tectonic activity, making a high likelihood of earthquakes.

The Ring of Fire which is in the Pacific Ocean.
most of the earthquakes in the world happen near the Ring of Fire since most earthquakes happen where two tectonic plates meet

In the pacific plate. Mostly around the area known as the Pacific Ring of Fore. 70% of the world's earthquakes and volcanoes happen in the Pacific Ring of Fire which is located in the Pacific Plate.
the ring of fire which is around Haiti or in the western pacific
Tsunamis mostly occur in the Pacific Ocean because they are made because of Earthquakes and lots of earthquakes happen in the ring of fire.
