It is difficult, because the bear has a skill that breaks your "Charm Animal" skill. A partner is needed, and even then this feat can still be difficult, because while your partner is attacking the bear, you must stay just out of Aggro to be successful.

If you do this, your current characters will remain on the Prophecies only one and you'll be essentially starting over with new characters on the new account.
The Elite armor for Prophecies is in 2 outposts: Marhan's Grotto, and The Granite Citadel. Both of them are in the Southern Shiverpeaks, and you have to go there yourself or get a run there; no mission ending or quest will take you to either one.
