Why would anyone want to hire someone that wasn't professional? If you are hoping to be hired to do something professional, you should look like the people that do that job.
Having hired many individuals, I need someone that not only has the proper skill set, but represents my organization in the proper manner.
Good preparation for an interview is necessary to obtain a better chance of receiving an offer of employment. Here are a few essentials for both men & women:
1. Dress appropriately. Under normal conditions the interview will be in an office so a dark blue suit and tie is a good start. Shined shoes and well kept hair as well.
Women should consider a women's business suit.
2. Before the interview find out all the information you can about the company you want to work for. Look for places in the interview where you can mention something about the company.
3. Be a good 10 minutes ahead of the appointment time. Also bring a copy of your resume' just in case they lost it.. no kidding anything can happen.
4. Be prepared to speak about your past work experience.
5. Keep your hands folded on your lap and look straight at the interviewer, never let your eyes wander.
6. This question will always be asked, be prepared for:
"What do you think is your weakest point when you approach an assignment?"
Answer is "I often work late and sometimes I need to refocus"
OR: " I am always aware that details are important, and sometimes I must remind myself to see the big picture as well as the details"
Because then you would look unprofessional you twit.
You are representing the business by appearance and you want to show you're serious and won't goof iff
So you can look very professional.
As you would applying for the majority of other professional atmospheres. Mention positive qualities and traits such as: -Being a team player- -organized -responsible -friendly -hard-working -positive All those above and more are qualities just about an employer is looking for in an employee. An interview is all about how you present yourself, speaking, way of dressing, etc.
You should present yourself as calm, composed, competent, knowledgeable and friendly but poised. Act confident--even if you are nervous. Remember that confidence is not arrogance. Pretend this is your one chance to meet your idol and present yourself at your best.
You should try to make up your mind as to how to present yourself first in an Interview and then ask the question How do I present myself in a broadcast as the two aren't the same. You might want to mention your Gender as the same advice doesn't always pretain to men as it would to a woman.

First I w'll Introduce Myself after that I briefly describe my Educational Qualification, where & when I completed in decreasing order.After that i describe my Aditional Qualification or Cources done if any & my work experience starting from my present & my furture position. After all about my professional I describe my self in additional activities like intrest in sports & why i am intrested in that perticular activity.
Some suggest that no one should write their own resume, even if you are a professional writer. But if you insist on updating it yourself, resume update.
