I would like to research on Pharaohs because Pharaohs are kings of Egypt. They had many slaves and builders and commanded many people. They were also mummified after they were dead and they had, believed in the afterlife.

It is not 'important' in the sense that it will change in any way your understanding of today's society. But if you want to be a serious student of the early civilizations, Egypt is one of the important ones and its ancient history is mostly linked to the lives and deeds of their Pharaohs.
