It is important to control chemical reactions in industry.
If you plot the reaction coordinate (what I think you mean by "enthalpy change diagram"), the reaction will be exothermic if the products are lower on the graph than the reactants. If they are higher than it is endothermic. For instance, if you go to the linked Wikipedia page (link to the left of this answer), the graph shown is of an exothermic reaction.
Its a chemical change because the properties of charcoal are changing when fire makes contact with it. It is realising energy and that is one of the most important signs to know if it is a chemical reaction.
i dont know .. I am sorry :)
Burning is a chemical reaction, an oxydation.

yes ............... paint bubbling is a chemical reaction. when anything bubbles you know there is a chemical reaction.
It tells if the reaction will process spontaneously or not

You need to know the ∆H of this reaction, or the enthalpy change. If you know the enthalpy change, then convert the 6.44 g of sulfur to moles, and use stoichiometry to determine what fraction of a mole was reacted, and multiply that time the value of ∆H of the reaction
If an atom undergoes a reaction and attains a more stable form, you know if the reaction was a chemical reaction or a nuclear reaction by studying what exactly happened to the atom.
depends , if the reaction is endothermic or exothermic. if the reaction is endothermic , the energy needed to break the bonds is greater than the energy that forms bonds.and to break bonds you need thermal energy , meanwhile forming bonds gives off energy. now if the reaction is exothermic the energy given off the bonds form are greater than the enrgy needed to break them. you know if the reaction is exothermic or endothermic because exothermic have a negitave delta next to d eqn.while endothermic have a positive delta.

chemical how do you know?
No, a chemical reaction is when the atoms are not mixed together but chemical bonded together. You know when a chemical reaction has happened when you can smell, hear or see things reacting.
don't know
