So it wont mix
You can do that or you can zero balance the scale with the empty beaker on it before adding the substance to be measured to the beaker.
If it is too hot you may kill the bacteria/organism(s) you are trying to grow.
The thermometer reading will change from reading the solution temperature.

A hot beaker warms the air around it, which causes it to rise. For very sensitive balances, the updraft produced can reduce the measured weight.

Treatment is focused on slowing the progression of the disease. Treatment is most effective when begun early, before kidney function has deteriorated to a point where the kidney is permanently damaged, and dialysis is necessary

A person without kidneys that is not on dialysis may only live from a few days to several weeks before dying.

It is important to let the sand settle at the bottom of your beaker so that the sand is separated from the liquid.
Peritoneal dialysis uses a membrane inside your body (peritoneal membrane) as a filter to clear wastes and extra fluid from your body and to return electrolyte levels to normal. Unlike in center hemodialysis, you do not need to travel to a dialysis center for your treatment. Instead, after being trained at a dialysis center, you will do your treatment at home on your own schedule. Peritoneal dialysis can often be done at night, while you are sleeping. You will need to have a catheter placed in your belly (dialysis access) before you begin dialysis. Placement is usually done 10 to 14 days before dialysis starts. Some peritoneal dialysis catheters may be used immediately (acute-use catheters). But because of a high risk of complications, these catheters are not commonly used. - Hopefully that answers your question! -

Hold it by the top or use a clamp. But make sure before you take the temperature you stir the liquid around in the beaker first and that you do not let it touch the bottom of the beaker as the glass will be hotter than your liquid.
There are different authorities and boards which conduct dialysis technician exam to judge the competency and knowledge of candidates before awarding them license. Please consult your local body for the test schedules.
Because, if you mix the two reactants while the beaker is on the balance than the world will explode into a gigillian pieces!!
