Why is it not a good idea to be a teen mom?

There are many reasons being a teen mon is not a good idea. Some of those reasons are:

• You are still in school and need to concentrate on getting a good education.
• You are not prepared to provide for a child financially.
• You will lose out on your own childhood/teen years.
• Someone else (usually the girl's parents) will have to provide for the mom and the child until the mom finishes school and possibly college, and finds a job that will pay enough for the mom to provide for the child or the mom gets married.
• Having a child before you are prepared to raise the child and provide for the child is not fair to the child, or even to the mom.
