that's like asking 'y should we stop cutting down rainforests every minute' (we is almost true, every three seconds, the size of a football field is cut down from a rainforest) we don't want to lose wetlands cos they are beatuiful and personally, high ways and factories aren't. if u were looking for a more specific answer. sorry.
