The world used to have no water over 10,000,000,000 years ago, so that meant not many people lived. Now that we have water, we can get around faster. You see, if you take a look at our world today on the globe in a classroom, a house, or where ever you see a globe, you can see that the water never stops, it just keeps on going in different ways. The islands, cities, towns, and even countries stay apart so the water can get through. And that is why it's possible we can travel around the world faster by water.
