Because taking off your hat symbolizes respect, so keeping it on symbolizes a lack of respect for your country.
Not that I care much about the national anthem, it's just a symbol for patriots.
No it isn't, It is just considered rude and disrespectful to America.
No, unless the national anthem or patriotic song is being played or it is an offensive message on the hat that people would find rude
First written by an American, edited by a Canadian: As with any country's national anthem, standing and taking your hat off is appropriate. This is a simple and respectful gesture for ANY national anthem or flag. You are not required to salute or make any similar gesture, but a simple respectful acknowledgment is part of being polite to citizens of other nations. For citizens of most nations, the etiquette for the national anthem is to stand, salute (if in uniform), place your hand over your heart (if civilian), or similar. It is unnecessary to place your hand over your heart in Canada but the rest is appropriate as well. It is also rather inappropriate to do anything but these things when the anthem is played officially. It is regarded as rude in some countries to sing along with the national anthem but in Canada it is not and contrarily, in elementary schools it often necessary to sing along the anthem so that children will memorize the words.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not salute the flag, nor do they sing the national anthem (whether the American one or the Canadian one). They are not trying to be rude, and they are not trying to be unpatriotic. But their religion teaches them that flags are secular symbols and should not be treated like a holy object; similarly, national anthems are part of the secular system of government, and they only observe the governing principles established by God and by Jesus in the Holy Scriptures.
He said it meant he has two sides of him. One nice, another's rude, he likes to be rude during a fight
Forget it and don't suggest it to her if you want to keep her as a girlfriend. It is rude to ask her.

he was too rude to his followers
It is very rude to disrupt the class during a test
Yes it is indeed rude to mark an X over a flag. And if it is done on the national flag, the person could very well be arrested for insulting the flag. If it is an American flag it can also be a Federal offense. Do not desecrate the symbol of our great nation. Think of all the service members, me included who served and who died to keep it flying free.
yes it is very rude to refer to the face of a person as in a big scar or huge mole. just try to ignore it as much as possible and keep your distance.
