you are feeling a ghost baby u r not it is what they call aghost baby It may be a phantom pregnancy, or it may be that you are so late in your pregnancy that the HCG has dropped back as the other hormones have taken over. An ultrasound scan will show if you are pregnant.
The same ways people do now, other than the urine and blood tests. Missing a period, feeling sick, and eventually growing a baby bump and feeling the baby moving.
Blood tests can test for DNA. DNA tests can be used to make sure that the baby's DNA matches the parents' DNA.
Seriosuly about 99.9% because it tests straight from your uterus where the baby is being formed.
I had the same thing happen to me. I took several home pregnancy tests that came back positive. I went to the doctor they did a blood test and it came back as negative. They sent me to hospital to do a 48 hour hormone test and determined I was miscarraging the baby. You should ask your doctor if this is hapening to you. Hope this helps.
A sample of blood is taken and can be used for following tests
Ive read alot on these blood tests and only a few that ive read said that the blood test came neg but they were in fact prego. These blood tests deff are more reliable then a urine test, even the urine test your doctor gives you. (whitch is the same test as you can buy in the store. But like i said its very unlikely that a blood test is wrong. But some people dont produce enough hgc for it to picked up, if the tests done to early.
Yes, but the levels would need to be abnormally high
These "pus" cells are white blood cells and if the urine is collected correctly, there should be none or very few.
If all the tests say you and the baby are ok I would try not to worry. However if you have any bright red blood and/or cramps go straight to the hospital.
Urine is the preferred sample when testing for acidemia in metabolic disorders. The general researchers says that the metabolites appear in urine first and take longer to be detected in blood, making the urine sample as the preferred sample for screening and diagnosis of rare 100 metabolic disorders. Metabolites appear first in the urine and later in the blood, making pre-symptomatic detection of metabolic disorders possible from urine sample. Its a Non-invasive process for screening of metabolic disorders, hence its Baby-friendly. Therapy and Management of these disorders at its earliest will help to curb any damage to the baby.
Yes, and so can your urine and blood. Not only that but when your baby is born the staff do not need your permission to drug test your baby (by any means, urine or blood). If you use any drugs while pregnant it will show up in your baby's system. Why are you doing drugs when your pregnant? I am 6 months pregnant and I gave up drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and smoking pot when I found out. Please, don't be selfish, this is 9 months of your life. Give it up and get help if necessary. Do some research about what a mothers drug use does her developing baby.
In genetic testing particularly in metabolic disorders the testing is done by a painless urine test for DNA analysis even a cheek swab is sufficient. To know about genetic abnormality during pregnancy their are specialized test like amniocentesis and CVS and after delivery a urine test to know about a metabolic defect. Before birth all metabolic dysfunction was corrected by mother but after delivery when the baby starts surviving on it own he insufficiencies start becoming visible. This disorder starts harming the baby right from birth but symptoms only appear later. This is the reason why it becomes difficult for parents to believe that the disorder was present since birth it only got diagnosed later in life and the baby is suffering because they did not get the urine test done before. Urine test is very reliable as it can detect metabolites even in micro concentration. Test results are diagnostic making it reliable. I remember when my baby was in the nicu, the treatment was based on the urine report. When I further researched this aspect, (I always knew that blood report is the ultimate) to my surprise I found that the urine test which is carried out on Newborns after 48 hours of their birth is 100% reliable. After 48 hours, the metabolic system of the baby kicks in and hence can give the exact levels of the metabolites that are present in the body through the urine. These levels may not been seen accurately in the blood and hence urine is the best method.
