The existence of planets can be proved by visual observation using telescopes or by inference from other observed phenomena or data. In our own solar system, the planets have all been identified by visual observation using telescopes (or the naked eye). For planets in other systems, which are called "exoplanets," planets have been identified indirectly by measuring other detectable features of the system that indirectly confirm a planet (e.g. chemical composition, observing the effects of gravity on visible stars,
etc.--although to date three exoplanets have been identified visually as well). The difficulty has to do with the great distances involved.
"Planet X" is an old moniker for an undiscovered planet in our own solar system. Early in the 20th century, the behavior of Neptune seemed to indicate that another massive body was exerting gravitational effects on Neptune, which indirectly implied the existence of a ninth planet. Eventually Pluto was discovered and originally called a planet, and many said that Pluto was this "Planet X." However, the gravitational effect that Pluto can have on Neptune (Pluto is very small) is minimal and does not explain all of the anomalies in Neptune's orbit and rotation. (Pluto is no longer considered a planet; it is now a dwarf planet). Some people suppose that a much larger ninth planet may still be out there undiscovered--called Planet X. However, it has not been found to date even as hundreds of nonplanet Kuiper Belt objects like Pluto (Sedna, Makemake, Eris, etc.) are being discovered every year. It could be that the Kuiper belt itself is exerting influence on Neptune, or that other unknown factors may be in play. Most astronomers do not currently believe that a true ninth planet or Planet X exists--but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
It was to dark to to see
it does and it doesnt exist can prove and cant not prove so there you have it
You cannot prove that something doesn't exist. You can only prove that things do exist. It is called the paradox of negative information. You can fail to prove the existence of things and many people would take this as proof of non-existence, but it just isn't so.
I liek chocolate milk.
There is no way to prove whether angels exist or not - so you can believe that they do if you want to.
Well no, they say on December 21 2012 the world is going to end but some people believe that but others don't but it isn't really going to end on 2012. they say that nubiru or planetX is approaching Earth, but planetX is not real. So theres nothing to worry about.
I want to prove that I can take care of myself and not have to depend on America's hard-working tax payers. So far I have.
Mermaids are imaginary creatures of folklore and legend. There are no real mermaids. there have been sightings. it is very hard to prove that something does not exist, thus definitive negations are not very wise.
Simply stated you can't. See, the Illuminati does't exist. So, trying to prove that someone belongs to something that isn't is quite impossible.
In real life, because they don't exist
Selena had to prove to people that she was A Mexican and American at the same time. So she had to work extra hard to prove herself
It's hard to prove if someone is lying. But there are scientists that study every muscle in the face and have gotten really good at figuring it out.
