We live in the southern part of the US, so the temperatures do get hot. They also get pretty cold in the winter time. This is called the temperate region of the world.
The main problem in SC isn't the heat but the humidity - since we're near the ocean, the air is very humid, which makes it seem hotter than it really is.

it depends where you are in the usa. if you're in California then you can go skiing and then to the beach in the same day. and then in south Carolina the summer's air is musky, and hot, so it DEPENDS.
