Why is it that every time i try to install Adobe Flash Player on my mac so i can have happy times on youtube that when i click on that then click open it randomly quits itself as soon as it opens?

If it's not pre-installed you will have to install it first. If a program needs to use it to run you will usually be prompted to install it. Once installed you will get peridic pop ups asking to update.
