Why is it that many brothers stops their sister from dating but same brothers won't mind if their brothers are dating and won't stop their brothers from dating but don't allow sisters to date?

It's kind of an instinctive protection thing... guys don't want other guys hurting their little sisters, cuz that's what happens a lot of the time. Guys sort of assume that their brothers can take care of themselves, and in relationships, most of the time (but not always) the girls get hurt more than the guys. And sometimes brothers feel better if they're the only guys in their sister's lives. They feel like they're more on top of things.

Why most brothers are apathetic towards sister even though sister will always be concerned about brothers?
Brothers are not apathetic to sisters they simple can not allow their weaker sibling to see them vulnerable as a subconscious desire to make them feel assured that their brothers are strong inside as well as outside. This is not apathy. Apathy is complete and total indifference to all things emotional. More likely brothers do not want to seem weaker than their sisters so that their female siblings can see them as a source of inner strength. Then again it all comes down to individual experience.
