Perhaps they don't believe in magic at all. There are many people who believe that no one can change the laws of physics by mumbling some words or making some gestures.
Many people believe in magic. Believing in something often makes it "come true," at least in their eyes. If a person believes that black magic has been done, they will think that anything bad has been caused by that magic. They will dwell on negative things and ignore good things going on around them.
Yes, well sorta, the magic of all the boys and girls keep on believing in him, if everyone quit then we wouldn't have good old santa anymore, just a sad Santa who couldn't deliver presents and wouldn't have his magic anymore!! ='(
Don't Stop Believing - Journey Keep Believing
Black magic is not considered good. Black magic is a loose term for magic that is selfish and that will purposely hurt others.
Black magic was worse because it was used to put curses on people and/or to harm people. White magic was used to heal people and for good luck spells.
A spell practiced by a group of local people. Voodo would be a good example of indigenous magic.
Because it is the closes thing we have to magic. I think it's because love makes people feel good. And people want to feel good. Also, I think it's facinating. The Chemistry of the body and stuff.
No, they don't prove that magic is good. They just show that magic (or what is perceived as magic) *can* be good. But just because there is a Santa and a Harry Potter, for instance, doesn't mean that there isn't evil in the world or that we shouldn't be very wary of things that can be used in good or evil ways. Hopefully, Santa shows that power can be used for good... but unfortunately he can't prove that is usually is, because that isn't true in our imperfect world.
Most probably she'll do a lot of good to the world.......
When people expect from God to fit in their measures, and of course He does not, they fail in believing. Many say: if there were God, and He is good, there would not be suffering.... All of those can be explained, but that is not the question here.
nope!Another PerspectiveMagic - to those of us who practice it as part of our personal spiritual path - is the manipulation of naturally occurring forces/powers by the will and hand of an ethical (hopefully) practitioner. Two old adages that are quite relevant would best answer the question:Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic;[A large proportion of] magic merely consists of know ing one extra fact.No there isn't, but there is such a thing called an illusion though, and some people are really good at it. Magic is just an illusion to the eye.If you believe in magic then keep on believing, there's nothing wrong with that. People say there's no such thing as magic, there's a way around everything. If you disagree, then you disagree. It's ok to believe in something that no one else believes in; I for one believe in magic, no one can stop me.
good question
